The North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners maintains an extensive
licensee and CPA firm database. As a courtesy to the public, the Board has made
portions of this database available through this web site. Although the most
accurate information available is used to construct this searchable database,
the information found through this service is not guaranteed to be accurate or
timely. The database is generally updated in real time; however, sometimes there
may be delays in updating the information. The Board does not guarantee the use
of this information for any purpose and as such, the information obtained from
this database is not an official endorsement of any licensee or CPA firm. If
you have any questions concerning the database or problems accessing the

Public Record/Disciplinary Action
As a
service to the public, the Board has made its public record/disciplinary action
files available through this web site. To determine if an individual is, or has
been, licensed by the Board as a CPA, or if a firm is, or has been registered
with the Board, you may search the Board’s
database. If an individual or firm has any public record/disciplinary
action on file with the Board, a link, “Public Documents” will display on the
Details page of the individual’s record or the firm’s record. You may view and
print the document(s). NOTE: The public record/disciplinary actions are
either PDF documents; which require Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print the
documents, or TIFFs (an image) which require Microsoft Office Document Imaging
to view and print the documents. If you prefer, you may contact Lisa R. Hearne

LICENSEES: If you do not wish for
your home address and/or telephone number to appear on this web site, you must
select your business/practice address and telephone number as your mailing
address. Changes
in home and/or business address must be submitted to the Board on-line.
If you prefer not to submit your address change on-line, you may submit a Change of Address form by mail, fax, or e-mail.
Board staff cannot accept an oral change of address.
