General Information

The Activity Review, the Board's monthly newsletter, is provided at no charge to active licensees, exam candidates, educators, government agencies, other boards of accountancy, and various other entities. The Activity Review is the primary means by which these individuals are informed of the Board's activities. In addition to covering disciplinary actions, declaratory rulings, and upcoming deadlines, the Activity Review also discusses topics of interest to CPAs.

Subscriptions to the Activity Review are available to the general public and inactive or retired licensees for $12.00 per year. To subscribe to the newsletter, complete the subscription form and mail it to: Lisa R. Hearne, Communications Manager, State Board of CPA Examiners, PO Box 12827, Raleigh, NC 27605-2827.

The forms and other documents, such as the Activity Review, issued by the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners on the Board’s web site are in portable document format (PDF). This format is useful for making generally accurate renditions of forms and other graphics that are not comprised solely of text. A free software program, Adobe® Reader, is available to read PDF files so that they can be printed by a person accessing the Board’s web site. To view and print a PDF file, you must have the FREE Adobe Reader® installed on your computer. Adobe Reader® may be obtained from the Adobe Systems, Inc., web site.

• Scroll through the index to locate the article (articles are arranged alphabetically).
• Click on the link for the issue in which the article appeared
• A PDF version of the issue will open
• Scroll through the issue to locate the article

Simply enter the search term (ethics, peer review, mobility) or name you for which you are searching and the first ten documents containing the search term or name will be displayed. You may see additional documents by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the results page.
