Address Changes
Individuals | Firms | Exam Candidates
Without a valid mailing address on file for each
licensee and CPA firm, the Board is unable to disseminate vital information to
its licensees and registered CPA firms. Any change in you or your firm’s
mailing address, physical address, or practice address must be submitted to the
Board within 30 days of the change [21 NCAC 08J .0107]. Address changes may be
submitted on-line, by mail, by fax, or by e-mail. Board staff cannot accept an
oral change of address.
ATTENTION LICENSEES:
If you do not wish for
your home address and/or telephone number to appear on the Board’s web
site, you must use your practice address and telephone number as your mailing
address.
To change an individual licensee’s address
on-line, enter the licensee’s Social Security number, including dashes
(XXX-XX-XXXX), and the licensee’s North Carolina CPA certificate number.
If you do not know your CPA certificate number, you may retrieve it from the Licensee
Search section of this web site. Address changes submitted on-line are updated
in real time. To verify that the address change was accepted, check your record
